For larger samples and pilot plants, Sepor can provide the vacuum pan filter to increase productivity. The pictures show the 5×5 duplex vacuum pan filter during testing. The vacuum is drawn on the filtrate receiver, which in turn provides the vacuum to the pans, normally operated with one on standby. Vacuum is adjusted using a bypass valve between the vacuum pump and the receiver. When the solution in the receiver reaches a certain level, an air operated diaphragm pump is used to discharge the solution without interrupting the filtration process.
These come in simplex and duplex models, with 2’x2′ to 5’x5′ pans.
