KCA LifterBottle

Kappes, Cassiday & Associates (KCA) is a world leader in metallurgical processing and cyanide leaching technology. As part of KCA’s ongoing support for the minerals industry, KCA has developed the LIFTERBOTTLE. The LIFTERBOTTLE is a single mold testing vessel with integrated lifters utilized for bottle roll leach studies. Sepor will now offer the LIFTERBOTTLE for its complete line of drive rolls. The LIFTERBOTTLE is a sturdy HDPE bottle with a polypropylene lid. The lifters are integrated into the mold and can be used to mix a variety of solids, solutions and mineral slurries when rotated horizontally as on a drive roll. The LIFTERBOTTLE allows the material to collect on the lifters and be lifted up as the bottle rotates allowing the material to freely fall towards the center of the bottle, thoroughly mixing the material with the leach solution.

The LIFTERBOTTLE was designed with KCA’s standardized bottle roll test procedures that follow strictly controlled parameters of time, grain size, agitation, alkalinity and cyanide levels. The leach test periods generally run for 24, 72, 96, or 144 hours resulting in the detailed tests.
