Distillation Water Purification

Distillation is typically used to remove bacteria and pyrogens, for buffer and reagent preparation, feed water for Type 1 Ultrapure Water Systems, general chemistry, solid phase extraction, trace metal detection, and water analysis (i.e. BOD, COD, TOC, TOD, pH value tests).

Fi-Streem Stills produce high quality ASTM Type II water and can remove inorganic ions, dissolved gasses, organics, particles, bacteria, pyrogens and nucleases from water and produces 4 liters of bi-distilled (double distilled) water per hour.

Double distillation process increases water purity to above 1 megaohm-cm. With the 30L capacity reservoir storage tank, one can have 24-hour automatic operation.
